Start Where You Are
My last blog post was about approaching your yoga practice with kindness. In addition to approaching your practice with kindness, I invite you to open yourself to “what is, and where you are at” the next time you get on your mat. I like to think of this as “starting where you are”. When we start where we are, we accept ourselves as we are, today. Instead of approaching our practice as an exercise in self improvement, we come to our practice with the attitude that where we are now physically and mentally is perfect, and exactly where we are meant to be at this time. Next time you get on your mat, I invite you to come to your mat with an open mind, open to exploring and revealing the beauty that is inside you, today.
